We are in search of a seasoned Senior Software Engineer with profound experience in systems operations, automation, and infrastructure as code (IaC). In this role, you will drive the design, development, and maintenance of our CI/CD pipelines and cloud infrastructure, supporting the seamless delivery of technology solutions that modernize and digitize the grid.

Key Accountabilities

• Lead the development and optimization of CI/CD pipelines to automate and streamline our operations across multiple platforms.
• Spearhead the integration of software design, operating architecture, and systems infrastructure.
• Contribute to architecture discussions, advocating for best practices in DevOps methodologies.
• Implement robust, scalable cloud infrastructure solutions that support global product requirements.
• Work alongside development teams to ensure operational criteria are met prior to product releases.
• Work with vendors to enhance existing tools and solutions to improve applicability to scalable solutions.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in a DevOps role within a technology-driven environment.
• Expertise in managing CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI) and infrastructure as code (e.g., Terraform, Ansible).
• Strong understanding of cloud services (preferably Microsoft Azure) including Azure DevOps, Azure Service Bus, etc.
• Experience with container orchestration services such as Kubernetes.
• Experience in managing on premises and cloud infrastructures.
• Experience with API development
• Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python and Bash.
• Strong background in system architecture, including load balancing, databases, and disaster recovery.
• Familiarity with monitoring tools and practices.
• Experience with network, server, and application-status monitoring.
• Experience with Azure Arc is beneficial
• Experience with hardened cloud software deployment is beneficial
• Solid understanding of security best practices.
• Prior experience with IIoT (Industrial Internet of Things) and OT (Operational Technology) is highly advantageous.
• Knowledge of industrial electrical concepts is beneficial.
