ServiceTitan, Inc. is building a new engineering squad focused on the Exteriors vertical (roofing, siding, windows, gutters) to lead the market.

You will own end-to-end pieces of the sale-to-production lifecycle, crafting full-stack features in C#/.NET and React/TypeScript while collaborating with product managers, designers, and other engineers. You will contribute to architecture, ship high-quality code, and help shape a greenfield product area that the company has prioritized, offering

Qualifications

• 8+ years of professional software engineering experience.

Ready to be a Titan? We're standing up a newly-funded engineering squad tasked with making ServiceTitan's Exteriors vertical (roofing, siding, windows, gutters) the market-leading product for that segment. This squad owns the full contractor workflow, spanning both halves of the business: Sales: roofing-specific personalization, in-home selling from lead through on-site presentation, and insurance claim/supplement tracking Production: giving contractors visibility into their project pipeline once a job is sold, from scheduling through completion You'll be building on top of our existing Estimates, SBET, Contract, and e-sign platforms, with outsized ownership over a product line leadership has explicitly prioritized. This is a rare chance to shape a greenfield product area from the ground up rather than iterate on an established one.

What You'll Do

Own significant, well-defined pieces of the full sale-to-production lifecycle end to end — from technical design through shipping and iteration.

Design and build full-stack features across our C#/.NET backend and React/TypeScript frontend.

Partner closely with product managers, designers, and other engineers to translate the needs of roofing, siding, window, and gutter contractors into shipped software.

Make sound technical decisions within your area of ownership, escalating and collaborating with senior engineers and your lead on cross-cutting or architecturally significant choices.

Write clean, well-tested, maintainable code, and hold that same bar in code reviews for your teammates.

Debug and resolve complex issues across the stack, including performance and reliability problems in a distributed systems environment.

Contribute to technical design discussions and help evolve the architecture of a fast-growing product area.

Communicate clearly with engineers, product managers, and other stakeholders about progress, tradeoffs, and risks.

What You'll Bring

Equivalent of 8+ years of professional software engineering experience, including building production systems used by real customers.

Strong full-stack ability, with hands-on experience in C#/.NET and React/TypeScript (or comparable strongly-typed backend and modern frontend frameworks) — comfortable moving across the stack as the work requires.

Solid understanding of SQL databases (Microsoft SQL Server or equivalent) and how to design efficient, reliable data models.

Working knowledge of distributed systems and microservices architecture.

Proficiency with Git, unit testing, debugging, and performance profiling.

Strong communication and technical writing skills — you can explain your reasoning clearly to both engineers and non-engineers.

Comfort with ambiguity: this is a newly-formed squad building new product surface area, so priorities and requirements will evolve as we learn from contractors in the field.

A genuine interest in understanding the contractor's workflow (sales and production) well enough to build software that actually solves their problems.

B.S., M.S., or equivalent practical experience in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.

For candidates in the United States, the good faith salary ranges estimate for this role is Zone 1: $163,400 USD - $245,000 USD Applicable for: CA, CT, DC, MD, MA, NJ, NY, VA, and WA.

Zone 2: $152,600 USD - $229,000 USD Applicable for: All other U.S. locations.

International Compensation for candidates residing outside the United States will vary by location and will be discussed during the hiring process.

Actual compensation within a range is determined by factors including relevant experience, skill set, qualifications, and performance.
