Senior Software Engineer at Moody’s Analytics, Inc. (New York, NY). Implement change requests, enhancements, and bug fixes for Moody’s Risk management software solutions and products. Requires a Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field plus five (5) years of progressively responsible experience as a Software Engineer or related performing software development and designing technical solutions. Must have experience with the following: providing technical support, including troubleshooting, analyzing, and resolving defects in production, and QA environments; designing, building, and configuring applications; working with C#, Python and Relational Databases including MS SQL, Oracle, and PostgreSQL; using JQuery, JavaScript and HTML/CSS/XML;.Net Framework, ASP.Net, working with Source Control including Team Foundation Server, Git, and Bitbucket; and using Visual Studio IDE and Angular, AngularJS and Web Services development; and Micro services Architecture design and development, Database optimization and performance improvement. Telecommuting Permitted (100% telecommuting position. Will consider applicants resident in the continental U.S.). For US-based roles only: the anticipated hiring base salary range for this position is $179,982 to $186,500/yr, depending on factors such as experience, education, level, skills, and location.
