Job summary

Radiance Technologies is seeking a Software Engineer to advance Naval Research Lab capabilities with design, development, and maintenance across web apps, UIs, geo-processing tools, REST interfaces, and database interfaces. The role involves full lifecycle support and containerized deployments within NRL facilities at Stennis Space Center.

Qualified candidates will have a Bachelor’s degree in software/ CS-related fields, 8+ years of experience, and the ability to obtain a Secret clearance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in software-related field.
• 8+ years of full-time software engineering experience.
• Ability to obtain Secret Security Clearance.
• Experience with Java, C++, Python.
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, Helm Charts, and security best practices.

Responsibilities

• Advance Naval Research Lab capabilities by designing, developing, and maintaining software.
• Provide full lifecycle support for web apps, UIs, geo-processing tools, REST interfaces, and database interfaces.
• Work with containerized deployments and integration within ship/DoD-related systems.

The Software Engineer will advance the capabilities of the Naval Research Lab (NRL) by providing software design, development, and maintenance. The position includes full lifecycle software support for web applications, user interfaces, geo-processing tools, REST interfaces, database manipulation applications/interfaces, and containers. NRL is located at NASA's Stennis Space Center and the work would be performed in NRL's facilities.
