Job summary

GRVTY is seeking a Senior Software Engineer in Laurel, MD, with TS/SCI + Poly clearance, to develop analytics and tools for compliance and business processing. You will prototype automation functions and test ML/AI algorithms in the RD environment, creating models and monitoring metrics for data flows.

Telework up to 2 days weekly is possible if tasking allows, with the strong preference for on-site collaboration in a high-security setting.

Qualifications

  • Active TS/SCI with Polygraph Clearance is required.
  • 14–20 years of SWE experience in programs of similar scope.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related discipline; 4 years of additional SWE experience may substitute for a degree.
  • Experience with Python, Java, Scala; ML model building and monitoring.

Job description

GRVTY is seeking a Senior Software Engineer with a TS/SCI + Poly clearance (applicable to this customer) to join one of our top projects in Laurel, MD.

The Senior Software Engineer shall develop, enhance, and prototype compliance and business processing analytics and tools. The Engineer will also develop new methods for automating compliance functions and improve existing methods. Additional responsibilities include investigating, integrating, and testing compliance modernization Machine Learning/AI algorithms and research proof-of-concepts in the RD environment. The Engineer will also develop models and implement appropriate metrics and monitoring of developed tools, functions, and data flows.

Telework: Possible up to 2 days a week remote if tasking becomes available, but is not guaranteed.

What You Must Have

  • Active TS/SCI with Polygraph Clearance
  • 14-20 years of experience as a SWE in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity is required
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related discipline from an accredited college or university is required; 4 years of additional SWE experience may be substituted for a degree
  • Experience with Python
  • Experience with GM Learn
  • Exploratory Data Analysis (EDA)
  • Experience with Jira
  • Experience with Confluence
  • Experience with Java and Scala
  • Experience with Lucene, JEXL, SQL, JSON
  • Random Forest and ability to do feature development for Random Forest
  • Experience with Machine Learning Model building and monitoring
  • Experience with Ghostmachine (Map/Reduce)

  • Experience with IntelliJ and/or Eclipse
  • Experience with Git/Gitlab and/or Stash/Bitbucket
