What you’ll do… Role summary: The Senior Software Engineer will lead the delivery of scoped features and software components by collaborating with cross‑functional teams. This role involves designing, developing, testing, and maintaining scalable, secure, and high‑quality software solutions aligned with platform and business objectives. The position requires expertise in multiple programming languages, continuous integration, and AI/ML integration to enhance product capabilities. The engineer will also provide technical leadership, mentor peers, and engage stakeholders to translate complex problems into actionable solutions, ensuring alignment with company standards and driving continuous improvement throughout the software development lifecycle.

What you’ll do
  • Own scoped feature and model delivery through collaboration with engineering teams, managing implementation, iteration, testing, and support.
  • Write clean, efficient, and reliable code across multiple languages, driving the full software development lifecycle including CI/CD and automated testing.
  • Integrate AI and ML components to enhance software intelligence and leverage generative AI tools to improve development velocity.
  • Participate in solution design, conduct code reviews, and ensure scalable, secure, and maintainable software aligned with platform objectives.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business needs into technical requirements and define success metrics.
  • Monitor application performance, support defect management, and promote continuous improvement and knowledge sharing.
What you’ll bring
  • Proven expertise in object‑oriented programming and documentation‑based coding practices.
  • Strong experience delivering scoped features or model components within collaborative engineering teams.
  • Proficiency in multiple programming languages including JavaScript, TypeScript, Python, Java, Rust, Dart, and C++.
  • Demonstrated ability to drive full software development lifecycle with CI/CD, automated testing, and monitoring.
  • Skilled in code review, debugging, and defect management to ensure high‑quality software delivery.
  • Experience integrating AI/ML components and leveraging generative AI tools to enhance development.

Salary

The annual salary range for this position is $117,000.00 - $234,000.00. Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses. Additional compensation for certain positions may also include:

Minimum Qualifications
  • Option 1: Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering, computer information systems, software engineering, or related area and 3 years’ experience in software engineering or related area.
  • Option 2: 5 years’ experience in software engineering or related area.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Computer Information Systems, Software Engineering, or related area and 1 year’s experience in software engineering or related area.
