Job summary

NexHealth, Inc. is building the world’s most advanced healthcare integration API that synchronizes in real-time with EHR systems. You’ll work on scalable back-end systems and feature-rich data integrations that support a growing ecosystem of developers and healthcare providers.

You will collaborate with engineering leaders and product managers to design, build, and rollout high-impact health data platform enhancements, while applying DevOps practices and security-minded engineering.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience as a software engineer with a focus on scalable back-end systems and platforms.
• Deep experience integrating and scaling storage systems, cloud-native services, and open source projects (Kubernetes ecosystem, AWS, PostgreSQL).
• Knowledge of common DevOps tools and practices.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain bidirectional, real-time integrations with dozens of EHRs.
• Scale data processing and storage from terabytes to petabytes.
• Own cross-functional projects end to end, from design to rollout.
• Partner with engineering leaders and product managers to deliver on ambitious engineering goals.

Job description

• NexHealth has built the world’s most advanced healthcare integration API that synchronizes in real-time. With our real-time integration with electronic health record systems (EHRs), we help developers at tech companies like Swell, Truelark, Quip, Cherry, and more quickly build products and services that synchronize with EHR systems. NexHealth has also built our own doctor facing SaaS product on top of our own API
• You’ll work on some of our most challenging problems, from building an open data lake for health records, to building dev ops for our next 100x growth, to defining and building the next generation of health record system integrations for the industry
• Keep up with our exponentially growing customer base and associated dataset, scaling our data processing and storage layer from terabytes to petabytes and beyond
• Build and maintain bidirectional, real-time integrations with dozens of EHRs, scaling to hundreds or thousands of integrations
• Drive improvements to our core systems to unlock 100x growth in the number of practices, patients, and developers relying on our platform
• Own cross-functional projects end to end, from technical design and decomposition to a successful launch and rollout
• Partner with engineering leaders and product managers to generate, prioritize, and deliver on ambitious engineering goals
