We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer highly skilled in core Microsoft technologies, and experience shipping enterprise-level software to join our team - you will develop and support the team.

Working as part of our engineering team, you will play a pivotal role in the global scalability, support and enhancement of an industry leading, enterprise-grade platform that is revolutionizing the way IT companies do business, globally.

What you’ll do

1. Contributing to large scale product integrations by leveraging third-party APIs, enhancing UI workflows, and adhering to the latest security standards.
2. Applying application knowledge to design high-impact solutions to improve the stability and quality of the platform.
3. Implementing root cause fixes to issues triaged by L3 Support. Communicating with stakeholders to keep customers informed.
4. Taking a proactive approach to resolve application issues. Develop unit and functional tests to prevent future occurrences.
5. Assisting with refining, prioritizing, and managing your team’s issue backlog.
6. Promote positive communication, collaboration, and team growth.
7. Communicating with cross-functional teams including, but not limited to, Technical Support, Software Development, QA, Design, Documentation, and Product Management.
8. Ensure the health and availability of the production application through monitoring, analysis of event logs, and debugging high priority production issues.
9. Collaborating with fellow engineering team members to maintain architectural knowledge of new features and changes to the platform.
10. Being a positive role model, that others want to follow and be inspired by.
11. Being an agent of change. Identify gaps in processes and tasks. An advocate of new ideas to drive continuous improvement.
12. Developing tooling to improve development and deployment processes.

About You

1. B.S. in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
2. 3+ years of experience programming in C# and ASP.Net
3. Strong computer science fundamentals: industry standard patterns and practices
4. Experience working with cross functional teams completing root cause analysis, debugging code, and bug fixes
5. Passionate technologist looking to teach and learn from the best in software development
6. Independent, driven, creative, and likes to take ownership
7. Comfortable communicating with a wide variety of stakeholders to understand and execute on development roadmaps

Technology & Tools

1. Core Microsoft technologies - C#, SQL, .Net, ASP.Net
2. API development - REST, SOAP
3. Front-end development (e.g., HTML, CSS, and JavaScript)
4. Experience with modern authentication mechanisms
5. Experience maintaining production services and applications
6. Experience with multiple application architectures (e.g., service-oriented architecture)
7. Experience facilitating the implementation of modern security patterns and practices
8. Broad and deep knowledge of architectural styles and design patterns
9. Experience working with continuous integration systems
