Job summary

Tech9 is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join the delivery team as a hands-on technical leader, driving production-grade software and AI-assisted development. You will own features end-to-end, communicate with US-based clients, and embody a product-minded approach to engineering.

You will collaborate with delivery managers on scoping, estimation, and risk flags, while mentoring mid-level engineers and promoting best practices across projects.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience building and shipping production systems.
• Strong proficiency in one major stack (JavaScript/TypeScript, Python or similar) with API, database, and cloud infra experience.
• Experience with AI-enabled tooling, prompts, and automation to speed delivery.
• Excellent client-facing communication skills and ability to translate business needs into technical plans.

In this role, you will own meaningful parts of what we build, design and ship production-grade software across the stack, and use modern AI tooling to accelerate delivery without cutting corners.
