Job Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement high-quality software solutions in the accounting and finance domain.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
• Work with outside data sources and APIs.
• Discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency.
• Maintain code quality, organization, and automation.
• Provide leadership to junior engineers, including code reviews and guidance on best practices.
• Optimize system performance and scalability.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand needs and translate them into software solutions.
• Participate in the full software development lifecycle, including analysis, design, coding, testing, debugging, and documentation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
• At least 5 years of experience in software engineering, specifically in DevOps.
• Experience designing and developing software in the finance industry.
• Proficiency with version control tools like Git.
• Knowledge of software development methodologies, tools, and processes.
• Experience with CI/CD, test automation, and deployment strategies.
• Ability to write clean, efficient, and reusable code.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Understanding of secure, stable software design principles.
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) is a plus.
