Job Summary (List Format) Senior Software Engineer

• Design, develop, and modernize enterprise applications across diverse technology stacks.
• Transition legacy Java/Spring and .NET/ASP.NET systems to modern, cloud-native solutions using Node.js, Angular/React, and TypeScript within AWS.
• Conduct in-depth analysis of legacy systems ("application archaeology") to understand business logic, integrations, and dependencies for effective refactoring or re-platforming.
• Collaborate with Business Analysts, Product Owners, architects, and development teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Develop scalable RESTful APIs, backend services, and component-based user interfaces using modern JavaScript/TypeScript frameworks and service-oriented architecture.
• Integrate applications with relational and analytical data platforms such as PostgreSQL, Oracle, SQL Server, and Snowflake.
• Utilize AWS services including Lambda, ECS, RDS, S3, and API Gateway for cloud development and deployment.
• Work with DevOps and platform teams to support CI/CD pipelines, automated deployments, and secure development practices.
• Participate in architectural design discussions, code reviews, and technical decision-making to adopt and reinforce engineering best practices.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to other developers, promoting standards for architecture, testing, documentation, and code maintainability.
• Leverage AI-assisted development tools to enhance efficiency and software quality.
• Reduce technical debt, improve system interoperability, and ensure delivery of secure, sustainable solutions in line with the client's technology modernization strategy.
• Engage in the full software development lifecycle, including requirements analysis, design, implementation, testing, documentation, and maintenance.
• Demonstrate strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
• Maintain clear and comprehensive development documentation and ensure clean, efficient, and well-notated code.
