Job summary

Altamira Technologies Corporation seeks Software Engineers to join a dynamic mission-focused team. You will design, develop, and test software across a complex architecture to support mission analysts and users, and work directly with customers to translate needs into usable systems.

You will leverage continuous integration to build sustainable software, collaborate with teammates, and contribute to innovative solutions across modern tooling such as Docker, Kubernetes, Kafka, and ELK stack.

Qualifications

• BS/BA in CS/CE/EE or related field with 7+ years in software development.
• Advanced proficiency in Java or similar OO language.
• Experience with Elasticsearch databases and JSON.
• Deep understanding of Docker, Kubernetes, Helm, Kafka, RabbitMQ, SQS, REST web services and ELK stack.

Position Description: We are seeking Software Engineers that enjoy a dynamic working environment and possess a mix of talent areas related to full stack development. Role And Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and test software within a complex architecture to support a dynamic mission and provide desired functionality to mission analysts and users
• Work directly with the customer to interpret mission needs and requirements to produce user-friendly software systems
• Leverage continuous integration to create sustainable and maintainable software
• Interact with teammates and users through whiteboard sessions and/or design documents to establish circular feedback.

Minimum Education / Experience

• BS/BA in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field with 7+ years of experience in a similar software development role.
• Advanced proficiency in Java or similar object oriented language
• Experience developing and utilizing Elasticsearch databases and JSON.
• Deep understanding of modern web application tooling such as Docker, Kubernetes, Helm, Kafka, RabbitMQ, SQS, Web Services (REST), and the ELK stack.

Nice To Have (preferred)

• Strong professional experience with DevOps or infrastructure automation
• Experience with Digital Signal Processing with specific focus on XMIDAS
• Experience with Machine Learning and/or Data Analytics
• Experience with Redis
• Experience working within an Agile development environment

Clearance: TS/SCI REQUIRED. NO EXCEPTIONS.
The anticipated salary range for this position is $150K to $200K. Actual compensation will be determined based on several factors, including, but not limited to, the scope of the position, relevant experience, education, certifications, internal equity, customer contractual requirements, security clearance requirements, and other legitimate business considerations.
