Job summary

Coreforce seeks a Senior Software Engineer to lead design and delivery of Java/Spring Boot microservices with full-stack input in Java, TypeScript, and Python. You will own complex features, design event-driven systems, and drive scalable architectures in a hybrid Atlanta environment.

You will mentor engineers, guide CI/CD practices, and collaborate across product, design, and platform teams to ensure reliability and performance.

Qualifications

• Significant professional software engineering experience with growth.
• Strong Java + Spring Boot for microservices and TypeScript for full-stack delivery.
• Deep SQL expertise and data modeling experience.
• Experience designing/deploying microservices on AWS or Azure.
• Hands-on event-driven architecture experience (SNS/SQS, Kafka).
• CI/CD ownership and serverless patterns familiarity.
• Strong REST API design and system design skills.
• Mentoring junior/mid-level engineers; Agile/Scrum leadership.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical design for projects and features, producing architecture documents and driving consensus.
• Own larger services and complex features across the microservices architecture.
• Design and build Spring Boot microservices with well-defined APIs, ensuring scalability and maintainability.
• Design and implement event-driven systems using SNS/SQS, EventBridge, or Kafka.
• Architect and deploy serverless solutions using Lambda, Step Functions, and related services.
• Develop and maintain production systems in Java with Spring Boot, TypeScript (Vue/React), and Python.
• Drive architecture decisions within your area, balancing technical excellence with delivery.
• Mentor junior and mid-level engineers through pairing, code reviews, and design guidance.
• Own CI/CD pipeline strategy for your team's services, ensuring reliable deployments.
• Lead cross-functional collaboration with product, design, and platform teams.
• Conduct deep SQL optimization and database architecture for complex data models.
• Identify and address technical debt, performance bottlenecks, and reliability risks.
• Contribute to engineering standards, best practices, and process improvements.
• Participate in on-call rotations and lead incident response within your area.

Qualifications :

• Significant professional experience in software engineering with demonstrated growth
• Strong proficiency in Java with Spring Boot for microservices development, and TypeScript (Vue or React) for full-stack delivery
• Deep SQL expertise including complex query optimization, schema design, and database architecture. Able to design data models, evaluate tradeoffs between SQL and NoSQL, optimize queries, and make informed technology choices for a team or service
• Experience designing and deploying microservices on AWS or Azure
• Hands‑on experience with event‑driven architecture (SNS/SQS, EventBridge, Kafka)
• CI/CD pipeline ownership including design, optimization, and maintenance
• Experience with serverless patterns (Lambda, Step Functions)
• Strong system design and REST API design skills
• Demonstrated mentorship experience with junior and mid-level engineers
• Agile/Scrum leadership including sprint planning and backlog refinement
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Python experience for data pipelines, automation, or ML/AI integration
• Experience with LLM/AI capabilities including RAG, multi-agent patterns, or prompt engineering
• Multi-tenancy and platform design experience
• Performance optimization at scale across distributed systems
• Experience in security-focused or regulated environments
• Public safety or mission-critical software development
• Infrastructure as code experience (Terraform, CDK)
• Experience leading technical interviews and hiring processes
