Philadelphia, PA
You’ll take the reins on the projects that actually change how the business runs — from insurance platforms to web and mobile tech, integrations, upgrades, and intelligent automation.
You own delivery end-to-end: plan it, drive it, fix it, land it.
In this role, you’re the one turning strategy into shipped solutions. You’ll juggle multiple mid-sized initiatives, manage matrixed teams, keep financials tight, and communicate clearly up, down, and across the organization.
If you’ve led complex IT projects from start to finish and know how to drive results in a matrixed environment, we want to talk to you.
You’ll be the go-to PM for a mix of business-critical technology initiatives, including:
You’ll plan and track using effort-driven schedules in MS Project/Project Server, while managing time, scope, and financials through the organization’s PPM and financial tools.
Your core challenge: deliver multiple, complex IT projects in a matrixed environment without losing control of scope, schedule, or budget.
You’ve been the steady hand on complex IT initiatives where budgets, timelines, and stakeholders all mattered. You know how to work in a matrixed shop, pull together the right people, push for clarity, and still keep relationships strong when the pressure’s on.
You’re the PM who actually reads the financials, digs into variances, and isn’t afraid to say “we need to adjust” — and then backs it up with data, a plan, and clear communication to leadership.
High-signal experience:
This is a chance to sit at the center of meaningful technology change for a major insurance group, where your projects are tied directly to strategic and tactical business goals.
You won’t be stuck on one long, never-ending program — you’ll run a portfolio of focused, 6–8 month projects, giving you variety, visibility, and a steady stream of wins.
You’ll work with sponsors and stakeholders across the business, build your profile with leadership, and sharpen both your delivery and financial management skills.
