Job summary

NVIDIA is seeking an experienced software engineer to join the CAD Infrastructure team in Santa Clara, CA. You will architect highly automated flows and contribute across architecture, design, and implementation for a next-generation semiconductor design platform.

You will implement event-driven data preprocessing pipelines, develop C++ and Python tools tailored to complex engineering workflows, and collaborate with VLSI teams to anticipate future challenges.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of relevant software engineering experience.
• BS or MS in Computer Science or Computer Engineering, or equivalent experience.
• Practical experience in C++ and Python programming.
• Strong foundations in software building, algorithms, and data structures.
• Proficiency in software architecture: you've built systems, not just contributed to them.
• Strong communication skills and comfort working across fields during an evolving development cycle.

Your base salary will be determined based on your location, experience, and the pay of employees in similar positions. The base salary range is 168,000 USD - 264,500 USD for Level 4, and 196,000 USD - 310,500 USD for Level 5. You will also be eligible for equity and benefits.
