We are seeking a Senior Software Development Engineer (Full Stack) to own meaningful parts of the platform, influence technical direction, and elevate engineering quality across the team. You will contribute across the stack, work with AI-assisted workflows, mentor engineers, and collaborate with product and QA to deliver performant software in a fast-moving, remote-friendly environment.

Voxology, Inc. is a CPaaS provider building scalable infrastructure for real-time communications. Our platform brings together APIs, dashboards, and orchestration systems that help organizations power mission-critical voice and messaging experiences with reliability and scale.
We are looking for a Senior Software Development Engineer (Full Stack) to take ownership of meaningful parts of the platform and help raise the bar for engineering quality across the team. In this role, you will contribute across the stack, influence technical direction, and help shape how modern development practices, including AI-assisted workflows, are used effectively in a fast-moving engineering environment.

Requirements

• Design, build, and maintain full-stack functionality across frontend applications and backend API services
• Own features and systems end-to-end, from technical design through implementation, release, production support, and incident response
• Lead architecture discussions and make pragmatic decisions balancing delivery speed, reliability, and maintainability
• Use AI-assisted development tools to accelerate implementation, testing, and debugging while ensuring correctness and quality; help establish safe usage and review standards for AI-generated code
• Mentor engineers through code reviews, pairing, and design feedback
• Collaborate with product owners and QA to scope and deliver performant, maintainable software
• Drive technical planning, improve deployment pipelines, build tooling, monitoring, and debugging, and champion unit and integration testing
• Participate in on-call rotations, lead incident response, and drive postmortem follow-through

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional software development experience, including ownership of production systems
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript and modern front-end frameworks such as React and Angular
• Deep experience building and maintaining server-side applications in Java
• Hands-on experience using AI coding assistants such as Claude Code, Cursor, or GitHub Copilot as a regular part of your development workflow, including generating and refactoring code, writing tests, and debugging, while validating the output and owning its correctness
• Experience with Docker and containerized application development
• Strong knowledge of SDLC and DevOps best practices, with a track record of improving them
• Solid understanding of backend API systems, including RESTful APIs, JSON, HTTP, and microservice architecture
• Comfortable with Git-based workflows, debugging across the stack, and shell scripting
• Demonstrated ability to mentor engineers and lead technical discussions
• A willingness to learn, grow, and contribute in a collaborative remote team environment
• Available to participate in an on-call rotation
• Authorized to work in the United States
• Resides in the United States

Preferred Qualifications

• Familiarity with telecom or CPaaS systems, including SMS, SIP, and voice calling
• Experience with Kafka or RabbitMQ
• Experience building internal tooling or agents
