Job description

Your mission, should you decide to accept it, is the following:

Design, implement and test leading edge software in either a mentoring or team engagement model, either as a lead or member. Work with other members of the team to ensure successful delivery that exceeds client expectations. Adheres and contributes to AJI standards and best practices (documentation, testing, version control, coding standards, build, etc.) with a flexible and great attitude. Eager to both explore on your own and mentor others to ultimately strengthen the team and yourself. Can solve problems, explore alternatives, initiate tasks and communicate status, with or without direction.

Required Skills (5+ years industry experience)

Demonstrable experience with:

• .NET 3.5 and above (C# preferable)
• ASP.NET (WebForms and MVC)
• WCF, MS Data technology including (Data modeling, ADO.NET, LINQ, Entity Framework)
• Agile software development practices
• Scrum or Kanban
• Visual Studio 2010 or Visual Studio 2012
• SQL Server 2005, 2008/R2, or 2012
• Excellent written and verbal communication
• Ability tolead a team of developers

Additional Skills (Desired, Not Required)

• Web standards including JavaScript, jQuery, CSS, HTML, JSON, and REST
• SharePoint 2010 or 2012experience (Administration, Search, BCS, ECM)
• Involvement in local user communities
• Team Foundation Server development experience
• Mobile Application Development (iOS Native, Android Native, MonoTouch, or MonoDroid)
