Job summary

Baylor Scott & White Health is seeking a Senior Software Developer to design, implement, and test high‑level applications for the System. This role offers technical leadership in project implementations and collaboration with users to align business applications with specifications.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years of software development, strong C#/.NET, full‑stack capabilities, and preferred React JS experience, along with knowledge of healthcare standards and Agile/CMMI practices.

Qualifications

• 5+ years professional software development experience.
• Knowledge of object oriented design rules.
• Experience with C# and .NET technologies.
• Full stack and React.js experience preferred.
• Healthcare standards and regulatory requirements experience.

Responsibilities

• Builds, implements and tests new applications, upgrades, enhancements, database designs, and performs maintenance to ensure system compatibility.
• Ensures appropriate integration of new applications or projects with existing technical environment.
• Trains and assists in the development of personnel, encouraging cross-training efforts to build team technical skill sets.
• Establishes technical standards and guidelines for effective programming.
• Verifies that user manuals are kept current.
• Maintains experienced knowledge of current technology.
• Composes technical documentation for development and help processes.
• Meets with customers and works with the Business Analysts to create software requirements, architecture, testing plan, and release documentation.
• Conceive, experiment with, and present architectural approaches for software applications.
• Ensure architectural integrity and consistency across the entire product.
