Nokia is seeking a software engineering professional to advance semiconductor equipment automation and MES integration in a North American setting.
The role emphasizes SECS/GEM communication, SEMI standard familiarity, and development of web and desktop interfaces, with strong data collection and process validation capabilities.
Semiconductor equipment automation and integration with MES
SECS/GEM equipment communication. Strong understanding of SEMI standards (E5, E30, E37).
Data collection over SECS/GEM
Station controller development
Automated finite state machine and workflow design
Design and implementation of equipment-to-host interfaces
Equipment and MES process validation
Proficiency with Inductive Automation Ignition
Tag design, UDTs and tag naming conventions
Perspective web user interface
General web programming (HTML, CSS, etc.)
REST API experience
Python (Jython) scripting
MES fundamentals
Modeling automation setups in MES
Executing remote transactions in MES
Prefer experience with Siemens Opcenter EX SM
Must have experience in SECS/GEM equipment communication.
