Job summary

Metronome, LLC in St. Louis, MO is seeking an experienced Senior Software Developer (Software Developer 4) to design, develop, and implement software solutions for government program needs.

Position requires involvement in SAFe Agile processes and collaboration with cross-functional teams, with a focus on secure, compliant code. The role supports 8am-4pm CST hours in a hybrid environment, with on-site days 3–4 per week and occasional after-hours work as projects demand.

Qualifications

• BS degree or higher with 8+ years of relevant experience.
• TS with SCI and Poly CI eligibility.
• Experience in SAFe Agile environment.
• Familiar with Jira/Confluence and GitLab.
• Knowledge of Java/C#/JavaScript.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Product Owners, QA Managers, Chief Architect and dev teams to design, develop, test, and maintain software solutions.
• Practice SAFe Agile workflow with daily standups, backlog refinement, reviews and retrospectives.
• Participate in planning, review requirements, support deployment, and ensure code quality and security.
• Work hours 8am-4pm CST with core 10am-2pm; hybrid schedule with onsite and remote work; Tuesdays in STL Grand office and Thursdays in O'Fallon IL office.
