Job summary

Collins Aerospace is seeking an experienced software engineer to architect, develop, and maintain scalable front-end and back-end systems in an onsite role in Tulsa. You will drive design of responsive interfaces, build server-side logic and data layers, and design RESTful services for integrated applications.

You will mentor engineers, stay current with web technologies, and collaborate with UX/UI teams to deliver polished interfaces across Linux/Windows environments.

Qualifications

  • Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years of experience
  • Strong proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and modern front-end practices
  • Expertise in one or more server-side languages: Python, Ruby, Java, PHP, .NET
  • Experience building multi-threaded and asynchronous applications
  • Experience with socket programming and event-driven architecture
  • Proficiency with SQL and NoSQL databases (MongoDB, PostgreSQL, MonetDB)
  • Strong understanding of JSON, XML, and XSD structures and schemas

The salary range for this role is 86,800 USD - 165,200 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
