About the Team

The Brand and Video Ads team is developing the next generation of advertising solutions, focusing on streaming TV and video ads. Our products include an AI-optimized video advertising platform that turns traditional brand awareness into measurable growth, online video advertising for cost-efficient reach through outstream and in-stream formats, and Sponsored Streaming TV ads across Amazon's streaming and third-party inventory.

We are a motivated, collaborative team committed to innovation, leveraging Amazon's vast data, AI models, and LLM advancements to optimize ads and deliver billions of impressions daily.

Key Responsibilities

We seek an experienced, self-starting senior software engineer with a strong track record in building distributed applications and services. You will own, design, and deliver scalable systems used by internal and external customers to create, manage, and serve innovative ads. You enjoy solving complex problems and driving innovation.

Basic Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional software development experience
• Proficiency in at least one programming language
• 5+ years of experience in system design, architecture, and scaling
• Experience as a mentor, tech lead, or leading an engineering team

Preferred Qualifications

• 5+ years of full software development lifecycle experience, including coding standards, code reviews, source control, build, testing, and operations
• Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent
