Hoplite Solutions is seeking a Senior Software Developer to join our Tysons, VA team. The role requires a minimum of 10 years’ experience and covers the full lifecycle development for innovative web, video, and multimedia training products.

You will work with Linux, AWS (S3, EC2), Apache/Tomcat, and languages including Java, PHP, HTML, CSS, MySQL, and JavaScript, using VS Code. Strong knowledge of IAM, RBAC, MFA, and scripting is essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years of software development experience.
• Experience with AWS services (S3, EC2) and IAM controls.
• Proficient with Java, PHP, HTML, CSS, MySQL and JavaScript.
• Experience with Linux, Apache Webserver and Tomcat.
• Bachelor’s degree in CS/CI/CE with 10 years’ experience.

Hoplite Solutions is seeking a Senior Software Developer to join our team in Tysons, VA

The developer, with a minimum of 10 years’ experience, will support the full lifecycle development (analyze, design, develop, deploy, maintain) of innovative and interactive web, video and multimedia training products. The individual will be responsible for product research, programming/authoring, interface design, testing and quality control. Products also include web-based training, SharePoint and websites, multimedia applications, video productions, graphic design, and print products.

The ideal candidate requires demonstrated experience with:

• Linux
• Amazon cloud, AWS and use services, like S3 and EC2
• Apache Webserver and Apache Tomcat
• Development languages: Java, PHP, HTML, CSS, MySQL and Javascript
• VS Code
• Configuring, implementing, and maintaining the Enterprise Application Auditing Tool, Enterprise Application MFA Solution (OAuth), and RBAC (Role Based Access Control)
• Bash Scripting
• Developing and supporting automation and orchestration processes for IAM services. Understanding of IAM governance frameworks, platforms, RBAC, group policy management, and privileged access management (PAM) tolls.

Required Skills:

• Demonstrated expertise with AWS infrastructure security and access controls
• Demonstrated expertise adapting equipment and technology to serve user needs and technology design.
• Ability to convey technical information to non-technical individuals to teach navigation of Github, Linux-based OS, and AWS and use services, such as S3 and EC2.
• Demonstrated understanding of software development best practices, including version control, testing, and debugging.
• A bachelor’s degree in computer science, Compute Information Systems, or Computer Engineering with ten (10) years of experience executing software development activities.

Highly Desired Skills:

• Demonstrated migration experience from on-premises services to the AWS platform using migration tools
• Demonstrated experience maintaining JAVA and PHP applications on Windows
• Demonstrated experience with maven or Gradle
• Demonstrated experience with AWS Secrets Manager
• Three years of experience contributing to software development activities and or projects within the IC
