Job summary

Accenture Federal Services in Lorton, VA is seeking a Senior Software Developer for an onsite role to design, develop, and deploy complex systems for federal clients. Qualifications

• 5 years demonstrated performance in related technology.
• Experience in cloud technologies, data and AI, security, complex networks.
• Knowledge of IAAS, PAAS, and/or SAAS.
• Experience with cross‑platform integration and large‑scale systems.
• Familiarity with business applications design and implementation.
• Training in Microsoft and/or industry delivery frameworks and relevant certified training.

Responsibilities

• Assist in conceiving architectural designs and deliver technical presentations to customer staff.
• Assist in the implementation of large systems including methodology, design approaches, and architectural and engineering considerations.
• Design and write code as required for selected customer systems.
• Assist in infrastructure design and deployment activities.
• Directly involved in the hands‑on implementation of customer systems.
• Lead role in conceiving architectural designs.
• Lead role in current environment assessment.
• Meet/interview customer to capture specific requirements in concise format.
• Participate in design of information systems.
• Work with customer staff to support technical strategy and control objectives.
• Enable development, analysis, deployment and/or solution to remain on schedule and in line with current capabilities and future direction.
