Location: California, MD

Work Arrangement: Hybrid - Remote with occasional onsite work as needed

Salary: $90,220 - $145,000/year

Job Description: We are looking for a Senior Software Developer to design, develop, test, and maintain software applications supporting the military aviation mission planning enterprise.

Responsibilities

• Analyze software requirements and develop software solutions.
• Design and develop software components and user interfaces.
• Perform system and unit testing, debugging, and troubleshooting.
• Take ownership of applications and serve as a technical SME.
• Participate in technical meetings and provide recommendations.
• Collaborate with development teams, customers, and software users.
• Support system modeling, simulation, and analysis.

Required Qualifications

• Active Secret Security Clearance required.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• 10-12 years of software engineering experience in a DoD environment.
• Experience with C# and C++.
• Experience developing Microsoft Windows applications.
• Experience with one or more of: .NET, Windows Forms, WPF, HTML5, JavaScript, TypeScript, Angular, or React.
• Strong debugging and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with NUnit, xUnit, or Microsoft Test.
• Knowledge of military aviation mission planning.
• Experience with Git and Azure DevOps.
