Thales in Austin, TX is seeking a Senior Software Developer to design, document, and implement solutions for our customers. You will work on standalone UI applications using Java with Eclipse RCP (JFace/JavaFX) and apply solid OO design.

Thales is looking for a Senior Software Developer who will work on designing, documenting and implementing solutions for Thales customers.
The candidate must have extensive knowledge of technologies related to standalone applications development. Experience in developing applications with Java, Eclipse RCP plugins, JFace/JavaFX is required.
Candidate must have experience in software architecture design, working knowledge and application of software design patterns and SOLID Object Oriented principles.
Candidate must also possess excellent communication skills that will help in the job of leading and facilitating discussions between stakeholders.
The Senior Software Developer is also performing peers code reviews and providing hands on guidance to the junior/intermediate members of the team.
