About our position

The Senior Software Developer I requires a creative individual with an established foundation of technical experience to design, build, and maintain Microsoft-based software applications and products.

What you’ll be doing

• Providing technical leadership as an active team member on projects working with the Product Manager and ScrumMaster to deliver product development tasks.
• Collaborating with cross-functional team members on design and development tasks.
• Contributing to and may lead a scrum team by analyzing, developing, testing, documenting, and maintaining high quality software solutions.
• Being responsible for meeting defined project milestones and sprint commitments in accordance with the team's Definition of Done.
• Following established standards and guidelines to deliver high-quality, high-value software to customers.
• Learning, following, adapting and applying SAFe Agile principles and practices.
• Assuming responsibility for giving and receiving constructive feedback to drive continuous improvement across process, product, and individual performance.
• Providing technical expertise to enhance product performance, usability, visual design, and adherence to design system patterns.
• Conducting code reviews and performs component, visual, functional, and automated testing.
• Working with Technical Support to reproduce and resolve customer issues.
• Performing other duties as may be assigned.

What we want you to have

• 5+ years of experience developing enterprise-level web applications using Microsoft technologies
• Proficiency in C#, ASP.NET, .NET Core (or later), SQL Server/Azure SQL, and Visual Studio
• Experience building and consuming REST APIs
• Solid understanding of object-oriented principles, automated software testing, and common design patterns (e.g., dependency injection, event-driven design)
• Familiarity with modern authentication and authorization protocols such as OAuth2, OpenID Connect, and SSO
• Hands-on experience deploying applications to Microsoft Azure; familiarity with Azure App Services, App Insights, and CI/CD pipelines
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with experience working on Agile teams
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, or equivalent work experience
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools (e.g., Bicep, ARM, Terraform)
• Familiarity with Duende IdentityServer or similar frameworks
• Exposure to architectural patterns such as Clean Architecture or microservices
• Experience using AI-assisted development tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot)
