Job summary

Robotic Technologies Automation is seeking a Senior Software Developer to design, develop, deploy, and support Java, Spring Boot, RESTful API, and Azure cloud-native applications from our Alexandria, VA area team. Required Skills:

• 13+ years of professional software development experience
• 8+ years of experience developing applications using Java (Java 11/17/21)
• 5+ years of experience with Spring Boot and Spring Framework
• 5+ years of experience developing RESTful APIs and microservices
• 5+ years of experience integrating distributed enterprise applications
• 5+ years of experience with object-oriented design, design patterns, multithreading, concurrency, and asynchronous processing
• 5+ years of experience with JSON, XML, HTTP/HTTPS, WebSockets, and third-party API integrations
• 5+ years of experience with SQL and relational databases such as Microsoft SQL Server or PostgreSQL
• 5+ years of experience troubleshooting application performance, memory utilization, and production issues
• 5+ years of experience using Git and GitHub, including branching, pull requests, and release management
• 3+ years of experience developing, deploying, and supporting applications in Microsoft Azure
• 3+ years of experience with Azure App Service, Azure Functions, Azure Container Apps, and Azure Container Registry
