Job summary

One Call is a remote-first employer seeking a Senior/Principal Software Engineer to drive architectural depth and delivery excellence in a legacy-heavy environment that is actively modernizing.

You will guide engineers across .NET Framework/.NET Core, C#/VB.NET, ASP.NET MVC, Web API, WinForms, and modern front-end stacks; build APIs and SQL Server objects; shape CI/CD; and mentor teams to deliver high-quality software.

Qualifications

• 10+ years building enterprise .NET applications in C# and VB.NET.
• Experience modernizing large legacy .NET codebases and cloud familiarity.
• Healthcare/regulated industry exposure is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Own and drive architecture and design discussions across multiple apps and services.
• Provide hands-on guidance to teams across .NET, SQL, and front-end stacks.
• Develop and optimize services, APIs, and data access layers.
• Lead improvements in CI/CD, testing, and observability.
• Mentor engineers and promote coding standards and best practices.
