Verizon is seeking a Principal Engineer of Software Development to lead design and implementation of large-scale systems using Java Spring Boot and React. You will mentor teams and deliver robust applications within our Customer Experience Platform and FiOS Order management domain.

The role requires deep backend and frontend expertise, cloud and CI/CD experience, and close collaboration with product managers and architects in a hybrid work setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or four or more years of work experience.
• Six or more years of relevant experience.
• Experience with Java and the Spring Boot framework.
• Experience with JavaScript/TypeScript and React.
• Knowledge of microservices and RESTful API design.

• Leading the design and development of large-scale, distributed systems.
