Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical work experience.
• 8+ years of professional software development with Python, Go, Java, or C++.
• 4+ years designing, building, and evolving scalable distributed microservices.
• Proven performance engineering to diagnose memory, CPU, and IO bottlenecks.

Responsibilities

• Design and architect high-performance services that are decoupled, scalable, and low-latency.
• Write core, production-ready code for critical paths and refactor legacy components.
• Profile, diagnose, and optimize performance using APM tools to prevent production issues.
• Optimize data layer with caching, efficient schemas/queries, and serialization formats.
• Collaborate with Cloud Infrastructure to align software with AWS architecture.
• Lead design reviews, mentor engineers, and drive performance-first coding practices.
