Qualifications

• Extensive full-stack experience spanning backend, frontend, data, and infra.
• Proven track record in system design with walkthroughs and trade-offs.
• Experience with legacy modernization and data migration strategies.
• Security, compliance, and scalability considered during design.
• Ability to translate complex tech decisions to non-technical stakeholders.
• Experience directing contract/offshore/vendor engineering resources.

Responsibilities

• Architect end-to-end across the full stack, defining data models, services, APIs, and boundaries.
• Read existing systems and plan their future with a migration roadmap.
• Balance speed to market, maintainability, performance, security, scalability, and cost in decisions.
• Build in code and set coding patterns the team follows.
• Lead contract resources and coordinate distributed engineers effectively.
• Translate options, risks, and costs to non-technical stakeholders for informed decisions.
• Work AI-natively using coding agents and establish standards for their use.
