Job summary

Emergent Staffing seeks a Senior Software Architect to lead design, development, and support of enterprise-scale applications on the Microsoft stack. You will guide platform services, shared libraries, and microservices across the organization, while hands-on coding and mentoring teams.

You will evaluate platform changes, support release governance, and help mature engineering processes, balancing strategy with day-to-day delivery to improve structure, scalability, and maintainability.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of professional experience developing software using C# and .NET.
• Strong experience with modern .NET technologies, including ASP.NET Core.
• Experience developing and supporting enterprise-scale applications in production environments.
• Strong proficiency with SQL Server and Azure-based solutions.
• Experience working within microservices-based architectures.
• Experience supporting shared frameworks, libraries, services, or platforms used by multiple dependent applications.
• Strong understanding of software architecture, design patterns, and scalable application development.
• Experience evaluating technical risk, release planning, downstream impacts, and change management processes.
• Experience with source control, CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and deployment practices.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain enterprise applications, microservices, and shared platform components.
• Provide architectural leadership for core platform applications and shared NuGet packages consumed by multiple downstream systems.
