FinQuery, headquartered in Atlanta, GA, seeks a Senior Software Architect to guide software direction across product lines, mentor engineers, and drive AI-assisted development initiatives. You will define standards, design decisions, and ensure scalable, secure, and reliable systems while actively contributing to code and architecture.

Qualifications

• Typically requires a minimum of 10 years of related experience with a Bachelor's degree; or 8 years and a Master's degree; or PhD with 6 years' experience; or equivalent experience
• History of architecting and delivering enterprise-scale software systems in production environments
• Experience mentoring or leading technical direction without formal people management

Responsibilities

• Leads the technical vision for at least one product line and provides ongoing direction across teams to advance that vision
• Establishes quality standards and drives system design decisions to reduce defects
• Serves as the team's AI development expert and promotes AI-assisted development tools
• Owns significant components through full development life cycle
• Evaluates business risk and makes strategic technical trade-offs
• Mentors engineers in technical decision-making and risk assessment
• Identifies and resolves complex problems; implements sustainable solutions
• Defines architectural decisions including tenancy models and service boundaries
• Improves engineering processes and test automation
• Creates and reviews system designs with appropriate patterns and data structures
• Contributes code using approved AI-assisted tools
• Leads post-acquisition data migration and security assessments
• Partners with Product, Professional Services, and Sales to align execution with requirements
