Zachary Piper Solutions is hiring aSenior Software Architectto support an exciting initiative in partnership with a stable, growing organization based in Chantilly, VA. This fully remote role will lead the architecture and design of a secure, web-based testing platform built on .NET technologies.

Responsibilities for the Senior Software Architect:

• Lead the architectural design of a .NET Core-based web application
• Define and document system architecture, database schema, and deployment strategy
• Translate Python-based adaptive testing algorithms into scalable .NET implementations
• Ensure application security, performance, and compliance with federal standards
• Guide development teams and perform code reviews to ensure quality and consistency

Qualifications of the Senior Software Architect:

• 8+ years of experience in software architecture and development
• Expertise in .NET Core, C#, REST APIs, and JWT/Bearer token security
• Experience with Angular or React, and Bootstrap for UI architecture
• Strong background in SQL Server design and optimization
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or related field
• Must be able to obtain a federal security clearance

Compensation for the Senior Software Architect:

• Salary: $150,000–$170,000/yearflexible based on experience
• Comprehensive Benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision, 401K, PTO, Sick Leave as required by law, and Holidays
