Job summary

Athenix Special Missions Group seeks a Joint SOF Trainer (Operations & Planning) IV to support Range/OPFOR planning at Hurlburt Field, FL. This full-time, temporary 6-month role focuses on SOF exercise design, staff coordination, and joint training development for Navy, Army, and Air Force partners.

Ideal candidates have 8+ years in SOF planning, strong communication, and the ability to lead complex training events in a joint environment.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in SOF planning or USSOCOM/TSOC staff roles.
• Experience designing and executing SOF exercises and training events.
• Strong presentation and communication skills; ability to lead and advise senior staff.

Responsibilities

• Maintain current knowledge of SOF and Joint Enterprise training requirements.
• Develop training methods and materials for Battle Staffs on SOF core activities.
• Coordinate with USSOCOM HQ and J-DIRs to synchronize exercise design and execution.
• Assist in OPFOR, Range, and SITFOR planning for JNTC/JELC events.
• Apply ADDIE model to design and deliver in-person and online training.
