Job summary

Huntington National Bank in Detroit is seeking an IAM/SoD specialist to help sustain the bank's separation of duties program and align standards with NIST guidance. You will partner with IAM, risk, business, and infrastructure stakeholders to manage access conflicts, mature processes, and configure policies in SailPoint.

The role requires 4+ years in IAM/SoD, strong communication and delivery skills, and preferably banking/risk/audit experience, with a cybersecurity degree and CISSP or CISM

Qualifications

• 4+ years of gathering requirements and delivering SoD matrices.

This role will be onsite at our Detroit, MI office (also open to Dallas, TX).

Summary

This role supports the development, implementation, and ongoing health of the bank's Separation of Duties program, aligning standards, controls, and procedures with NIST guidance. The position partners with IAM, risk, business, application, entitlement, and infrastructure stakeholders to manage access conflicts, mature processes, deliver SoD matrices, and configure policies in SailPoint. Qualified candidates should have at least four years of relevant IAM and SoD experience, strong communication and delivery skills, and preferably banking, risk, or audit experience, a cybersecurity-related degree, and CISSP or CISM certification.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Assists in leading and executing SoD standards, controls, and procedures in alignment with the NIST framework
• Assists in leading development and implementation of process maturity
• Works with the Program Manager to deliver Identity & Access Management (IAM) projects and key deliverables
• Works closely with risk, application teams, application and entitlement owners, and infrastructure teams to identify, implement, and maintain Separation of Duties controls
• Other duties as assigned

Basic Qualifications

• High School diploma
• 4+ years of experience in Identity & Access Management
• 4+ years of experience in working closely with lines of business across the organization to understand roles, entitlements, and toxic combinations
• 4+ years of experience gathering requirements and demonstrating successful delivery of separation of duties matrices
• 4+ years of experience executing Identity & Access Management controls and processes
• 2+ experience with using and configuring SoD policies in SailPoint

Preferred Qualifications

• Track record acting with integrity, taking pride in work, seeking to excel, being curious and adaptable, and communicating effectively
• Preferred certifications: CISSP, CISM
• Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity or Information Security
• Practical experience working within a banking function, risk management, or audit

Exempt Status
