Job summary

U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs seeks a Senior Social Worker to provide comprehensive social work services in the Emergency Department and various VA programs.

The role includes psychosocial assessments, treatment planning, crisis response, and coordination across the North Arizona healthcare system. Qualifications

• Master's degree in social work from a CSWE-accredited program.
• Licensed or certified to independently practice social work at the advanced level.
• Proficiency in English, both spoken and written.

Responsibilities

• Provide psychosocial assessments and treatment planning in ED, HBPC, and PACT settings.
• Deliver short-term and ongoing counseling to Veterans and caregivers.
• Coordinate care with interdisciplinary teams and community providers.
• Supervise trainees or less experienced social workers as assigned.
• Contribute to policy development and program evaluation.
