Job summary

The Senior Social Worker position at the US Department of Veterans Affairs Social Work Service provides comprehensive social work support to adult and geriatric Veterans across multiple settings, including Patient Aligned Care Teams, Emergency Department, Home Based Primary Care, and Integrative Chronic Pain programs.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in social work from CSWE-accredited program.
• Licensure or certification as a social worker at the advanced practice level.
• English language proficiency for appointment.

Responsibilities

• Provide social work services to adult and geriatric Veterans.
• Ensure open access to Veterans seeking services and respond to psychosocial crises.
• Deliver services across settings such as PACT teams, ED, HOME-BASE, and integrative pain program.
• Collaborate with treatment teams to ensure equity of access and quality care.
