Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 12 credit hours in social work, social welfare, criminal justice, human services, counseling, psychology, sociology, or related social sciences.
• Substitution: advanced degree or equivalent experience can substitute for the Bachelor's degree on a year-for-year basis.
• Ability to write clear reports, read complex material, and solve problems logically and systematically.

Responsibilities

• Plans, organizes, coordinates, and reviews social work services at unit level or directs a program of limited scope.
• Supervises social workers or students providing direct casework services.
• Develops, revises, and evaluates policies and procedures within a broad social work program area.
