Job summary

Hawai`i State Judiciary in Kailua-Kona, Hawaii seeks a Social Worker V to plan, organize, and review social work services within a unit, supervise staff, and ensure program standards are met.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree (or higher via substitution), strong report writing, analytical skills, and a valid driver’s license; PREA considerations apply; and applicants must demonstrate supervisory aptitude.

Responsibilities

• Plans, organizes, coordinates and reviews social work services of an operational unit or directs a social work program or group of programs of limited scope and complexity; supervises a group of social workers and/or student social workers engaged in providing direct casework services; or develops, revises and evaluates the implementation of policies, procedures and standards pertaining to the administration of a sub-program within a broad social work program area; and performs other duties as required.
• Supervises a group of social workers and/or student social workers engaged in direct casework services and related duties.
• Develops, revises and evaluates policies and procedures pertaining to social work program administration.
