Job summary

U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs seeks aSenior Social Worker in HUD-VASH to provide case management and psychosocial services for Veterans and families. You will collaborate with VA multidisciplinary teams to assess, plan, and coordinate care, including housing stability and VA benefits counseling.

The role requires a CSWE-accredited MSW, state licensure, English proficiency, and willingness to operate in the Everett, WA area. EDRP support and comprehensive federal benefits are included.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in social work from CSWE-accredited program.
• Must be licensed or certified by a state to independently practice social work.
• English language proficiency required.
• Driver's license may be required for incidental operator duties.
• Two years of experience post advanced licensure, with at least one year at the GS-11 level.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical case management to Veterans and families in HUD-VASH.
• Perform regular home visits to support housing stability.
• Assess Veterans for eligibility for VA health care and HUD-VASH.
• Develop and monitor treatment or housing stability plans with each Veteran.
• Collaborate with VA multidisciplinary teams to coordinate care.
