Job summary

Responsibilities include developing, implementing, evaluating and maintaining CSP initiatives in coordination with local facility, VISN, and VA Central Office programs, while ensuring compliance with VA policies and guidelines. The role requires licensure at the advanced level, CSWE-accredited MSW, and two years post-advanced practice experience in a relevant area.

Qualifications

• Requires master's degree in social work from CSWE-accredited school.
• Licensure/certification to independently practice social work at the master's level is required.
• Experience in advanced practice and specialized area of social work is expected.
• Ability to provide supervision for licensure may be required.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the Caregiver Support Program within the facility.
• Collaborate with CSP team to ensure high-quality care.
• Provide leadership, orientation, coaching and staff development.
• Monitor implementation of the specialty program and track growth.
• Attend calls/trainings to stay updated on program implementation and trends.
• Conduct screening and assessment of Veterans/caregivers with interdisciplinary team.
• Develop and implement methods to measure effectiveness of social work services.
