Job summary

U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs seeks a BHIP Treatment Coordinator (MSW) to manage complex Veterans within assigned BHIPs, coordinating community care requests and ensuring access across services. The role requires advanced social work licensure, experience post-licensure, and the ability to mentor staff and lead program improvements.

Qualifications

• Must have MSW from CSWE-accredited program.
• Two years post-advanced licensure experience; one year at GS-11 level or equivalent.
• Ability to provide specialized psychosocial treatment and case management.

Responsibilities

• Manage complex Veterans within assigned BHIPs.
• Coordinate community care requests and treatment flow.
• Provide comprehensive assessments and individual/group therapy.
• Mentor less experienced social workers and supervise trainees.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to improve service delivery.
