Job summary

Qualifications

• Master's degree in social work from an accredited school of social work is required.
• Bachelor's degree in social work with Child Welfare collaboration or related experience is acceptable.
• Bachelor's degree in social work and one year related experience is acceptable.
• Master's in a human services field plus one year related experience is acceptable.
• Bachelor's in a human services field plus two years related experience is acceptable.
• Bachelor's degree with three years of related experience is acceptable.

Responsibilities

• Investigate all screened-in referrals within 24 or 72 hours depending on immediacy.
• Improve quality of life of vulnerable adults through immediate and intensive interventions.
• Provide temporary supportive and specialized services to elderly/disabled adults.
• Encourage customers to use local community resources and supports.
• Apply social work theory and practice to assess and plan treatments.
• Be prepared to assist in emergency and disaster situations.

Education

Master's degree in social work from an accredited school of social work

Bachelor's degree in social work from an accredited school of social work and completion of the Child Welfare Collaborative

Bachelor's degree in social work from an accredited school of social work and one year directly related experience

Master's degree in a human services field and one year of directly related experience

Bachelor's degree in a human services field from an accredited college or university and two years directly related experience
