Job summary

Sanctuary Personnel Ltd in the UK is seeking a Senior Social Work Practitioner to join the Harm Outside the Home Team in Durham. This locum role is 3 months with the possibility of extension for maternity leave, full-time hours, and hybrid working with at least 2 days in the office.

You will assess harm outside the home affecting teenagers aged 13+, develop tailored intervention plans, collaborate with schools and agencies, and maintain compliant records while contributing to team decisions.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments of harm outside the home focusing on teenage safety and welfare.
• Develop and implement tailored intervention plans addressing identified risks and needs.
• Collaborate with multi-agency partners (schools, authorities) to foster a safe community environment.
• Provide expert guidance and support to families to enhance resilience.
• Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with statutory requirements.
• Participate actively in team meetings and contribute to decision-making processes.
