Job summary

Hot Luck is seeking a Senior Social Media Editor to manage social media for the brand and event. The role blends strategy, content creation, video production, and on-camera storytelling to capture the energy of Hot Luck's food-and-music culture.

The ideal candidate will be comfortable appearing on camera, conducting interviews, hosting social-first segments, and contributing across YouTube and other platforms. Based in Austin, NY-based candidates are also considered.

Qualifications

• Experience launching or managing video-first content initiatives (YouTube, social series).
• Experience appearing on camera for a media brand or entertainment property.
• Experience hosting interviews, live events, podcasts or social-first content franchises.
• Familiarity with Austin food, hospitality, music and cultural communities preferred.
• Experience creating creator-style content for Instagram Reels, TikTok, YouTube Shorts.

Responsibilities

• Produce, direct, and edit social media video/content (30%).
• Appear on camera regularly for editorial content and interviews (30%).
• Develop recurring social video franchises and formats to grow audience and brand presence (30%).
• Collaborate with Events to share talent and programming ideas and participate in events (10%).
