Job summary

DEPT is seeking a Senior Content Creator who thrives on hands-on production of social-first content. You will concept, shoot, direct, and edit across TikTok, IG Reels, and YouTube Shorts, collaborating with copy, design, motion, and production partners.

Bring a strong visual POV, comfort behind and in front of the camera, and a talent for turning cultural insights into native platform content. You will influence brand storytelling with fast-paced, engaging visuals.

Qualifications

Hands-on creator able to shoot, direct, edit content.
Strong understanding of TikTok, IG Reels, YouTube Shorts.
Collaborative with copywriters, designers, motion and production.

Responsibilities

Develop original, social-first concepts rooted in brand objectives, audience behaviors, cultural moments, platform trends, and emerging formats.
Shoot, direct, and edit content across platforms with independent or collaborative execution.
Establish and execute the visual direction for content including framing, lighting, styling, and props.
Operate cameras, lighting, and audio on shoots for high-quality social content.
Edit short-form videos from rough cut to final delivery with pacing, sound, and graphics.
Direct creators, talent, or on-street personalities when needed and interview subjects at onsite events.
Stay connected to trends and platform features, identifying opportunities for brand-relevant content.
Review content to ensure it meets quality standards and brand voice.
