Job summary

Sociallyin, a 100% social media-focused agency, seeks a Senior Social Media Strategist to own client relationships, drive strategy, and grow accounts. You will guide social media strategy across multiple client accounts, influence marketing decisions, and elevate strategic thinking across the organization.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in social media marketing, digital marketing, or brand strategy.
• Agency experience required.
• Experience with large brands, enterprise orgs, or Fortune 500 companies.
• Proven success building and leading social media strategies.
• Strong understanding of content strategy, community management, influencer marketing, and paid social integration.
• Experience presenting to senior-level marketing stakeholders.
• Experience leading strategic conversations and facilitating workshops.
• Deep understanding of social media platforms and consumer behavior.
• Strong business and marketing acumen.
• Ability to connect social media initiatives to broader business objectives.
• Exceptional critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
• Strong analytical mindset and comfort with performance data.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to influence without authority.
• Comfortable navigating ambiguity and complexity.
• Experience mentoring or coaching others.
• High level of ownership and accountability.

Responsibilities

• Develop and lead social media strategies across multiple client accounts.
• Translate business objectives into actionable social marketing plans.
• Identify opportunities for audience growth, content innovation, community development, and platform expansion.
• Create strategic frameworks that improve consistency and elevate thinking across the agency.
• Serve as a trusted advisor to client stakeholders.
• Lead strategic conversations, planning sessions, workshops, and quarterly reviews.
• Turn performance data into actionable recommendations.
• Monitor platform changes and consumer behavior shifts.
• Help shape Sociallyin's point of view on social media marketing.
• Mentor junior strategists and account managers.
• Contribute to building a stronger strategy department over time.
• Partner with leadership and sales during pitches and proposals.
• Help prospective clients understand the value of strategic social thinking.
