Job summary

Pierce County is seeking a senior planning and development professional to lead planning, development, and evaluation of social service programs within the Aging and Disability Resources (ADR) Division.

You will engage with older adults, people with disabilities, and caregivers to ensure they access needed services. This role emphasizes collaboration, policy development, and meaningful community impact within a hybrid work environment.

Qualifications

• Facilitation skills for community engagement and coordination.
• Strong project planning experience for strategic plans.

Responsibilities

• Develop program plans and facilitate planning advisory boards and public hearings/forums.
• Participate in local and statewide workgroups on planning and policy development.
• Assist managers with policy development and implementation.
• Prepare studies, reports and statistics for planning and policy decisions.
• Monitor local, state and federal legislative issues relevant to the program.
